Using the casting line to view a fish’s fishing point and throwing a lure is called Casting.

   The casting line locates areas with a lot of fish.
   The fishing point with the most Fish is marked with a bullseye indicator.

   The fishing point is PERFECT, EXCELLENT, GREAT, GOOD depending on the verdict.
   There are 4 types, and the verdict changes depending on the location where the fishing line stops.
   You can get various effects when playing under water, depending on the verdict.

3. ③ Cast

   Tap [CAST] to stop the Fishing Line.

4. ④ Enhanced Fish Finder

   The fish finder’s fishing point gauge will fill proportionately to the verdict if you throw the lure into the fishing point.
   When the gauge reaches a certain level you can enhance the fish finder, and the enhanced fish finder will show you the exact points special fish appear.
   ※ When you use the enhance fish finder ability the gauge will reset to zero.

You can catch a fish when it bites the lure.
When a fish bites the lure, Lure Durability will decrease and the fish will drop the lure after a certain amount of time has passed.
The fish is automatically caught if the fish consumes all of the lure’s durability.

1. ① Appearance Rare Fish

   Rare , Legendary Named , and Treasure Fish will be displayed when they appear.
   The chance of a rare or higher fish to appear increases depending on the cast verdict.

2. ② Shake Off

   [Shake Off] can be used to quickly drive offunwanted fish that bite the lure.
   Lure Durability loss can be delayed by using Shake Off.
   Shake Off has 1 basic charge, which can be increased with anglers’ special tour and boat effects up to a maximum of 4 charges.

   • - Fish that have been thrown off by Shake Off will not bite the lure for the remainder of the current underwater play
   • - If there isn’t enough fuel available for Shake Off, you can replenish it by purchasing more Fuel.
   • - The Shake Off button cannot be pressed if all Shake Off charges have been used.
3. ③ Lure Durability

   The level of Lure Durability depends on your gear, and enhancing the gear will increase the durability.
   The higher your Lure Durability, the more time you will have to choose what fish you want.

4. ④ Hook Set

   The Hook Set allows you to pull fish up to the surface.
   Drag upward after tapping the reeling button to use Hook Set.
   Hook Set is available after a fish bites the lure. However, it cannot be used if Lure Durability is 0.

If Hook Set is successful, the hooked fish will be pulled to the surface and take damage.
If Hook Set fails, the hooked fish is pulled to the surface but will not take any damage.

Reeling in a fish that came up from underneath the surface is called Yanking.

If you press and hold the reeling button, the fish will move and pull in the opposite direction and reduce the HP.

The tension gauge will increase when yanking. If the gauge completely fills up, the fishing line will snap and the catch will fail.
The catch will also fail if the fish manages to go to the left or right end of the screen and stays there for at least 3 seconds.

1. ① Fish Attributes

   The fish’s attribute will be displayed. There are 3 types of fish attributes: power type, speed type, and HP type.
   The fish’s stats will be different based on each attribute.
   power type: fish with this attribute are stronger than others.
   speed type: fish with this attribute are faster others.
   HP type: fish with this attribute have more HP others.

2. ② Whirlpool

   Whirlpools appear randomly. If a whirlpool grabs a fish
   twice as much damage is rapidly inflicted and the angler’s HP is continuously recovered by a small amount.

All anglers have their own individual skills.
The Angler Skill activates when the Angler Skill Gauge fills up.
The skill will activate by tapping the activated Angler Icon, and inflict a large amount of damage on the fish.
The entire gauge will be consumed when a skill is used, and the skill will be disabled .

You can [Swipe] when a fish emerges from the water while yanking.
You can Swipe by dragging in the direction of the arrow and inflict a large amount of damage on the fish.
The tension gauge will decrease when using Swipe.
※ If Swipe fails the fish will recover a certain amount of HP.

Fish will use skills when they feel threatened by losing HP.
There are a total of 4 types of active skills that fish use.

1. 1) The Spine Shot skill will double the rate at which the tension gauge fills up when reeling in for a certain amount of time.
2. 2) The Enrage skill that consecutively increases swim speed.
3. 3) A skill that sprays water, temporarily blocking the Angler’s vision and decreasing their stats.
4. 4) A skill that allows fish to retaliate against the anglers by disabling their skills for a certain amount of time.

Elite Rare or higher fish have more than one type of passive skill (resistances).

1. 1) Resist Stun: Has resistance to Stun and therefore recovers from Stun quickly.
2. 2) Resist Slow: Has resistance to Slow, and therefore moves quickly.
3. 3) Resist Normal Damage: Has resistance to Normal Damage, and therefore takes less Normal damage.

There are 3 types of fish attributes: power type, speed type, and HP type
The abilities of enraged fish are different depending on their attribute.
power type: Fish become stronger when they go Berserk
speed type:Fish move faster when they go Berserk
HP type: Fish take less damage when they go Berserk

※ HP Type enrage effects do not apply to fish found in regions before the North Sea.

▣ Frenzy

Fish that are not caught within a certain amount of time will go into a Frenzy.
Frenzied fish will periodically go Berserk.
As such, you must increase fishing mastery to inflicted more damage on fish.

Anglers are divided into 5 tiers: Amateur , Professional, Master, Champion , and Legendary.
The higher their fishing mastery level, the stronger the abilities they will perform.

   All owned anglers will receive an additional upgrade when you enter the Amazon River Zone.
   You can increase an angler’s fishing mastery through upgrades.

   The items needed to upgrade an angler are different for every angler.
   Info about the required upgrade items will appear if you tap [Items] on the angler you wish to upgrade.
   If you need more of an item, you can tap [Location] and collect the item by yanking.
   When you move to the location by entering world tour, locations where you can obtain the item will be marked with HERE so you can easily see the locations where you need to fish.
   An obtained item will say Equip Available, and you will be able to [Equip] it by tapping on the item.

   Fishing Mastery Increase

   An angler’s fishing mastery will increase by the amount displayed on an item if the item is equipped. In addition, if the item is gear it will increase Swipe Damage, and if the item is an accessory it will increase normal damage. When an item is equipped, the increased damaged will be displayed in parenthesis, and calculated with upgrading.

Star Level is a system where you can earn rewards when you unlock locked fish by spending Hooks and Scales.
Small amounts of Hooks can be earned when successfully yanking and large amounts can be earned by plundering other tanks..
